EVE Online Asteroid Ore Mining CheatsheetGuide to mining EVE Online asteroid ore showing each of the asteroid types, mining yields and spawn locations. Useful for planning mining.

With the notable exception of Jita, every star system in EVE includes at least one asteroid belt. Most star systems have numerous, sometimes more than a dozen asteroid belts.
These belts are listed in the overview and the right-click menu, and they can have one of two shapes. One is a rough semicircle of asteroids about 50 km in diameter, and the other is asteroids distributed around 70 km in radius throughout a spherical volume. A ship that warps to the beacon of an asteroid belt (through the right-click menu or the overview) will warp to the centre of the asteroids. Because mining lasers have an (unboosted) range of only 10-15 km, a ship must travel closer to the belt after warping into mine asteroids. Instead of warping to the beacon, you can warp to mining bookmarks to save time.
Each type of asteroid in EVE Online relinquishes different types and amounts of raw materials used in construction. This asteroid ore mining cheatsheet shows which asteroids produce raw ores and where to find them.
Optimum ores are selected based on quantity per m3 and mining amount.

EVE Online Asteroid Ore Distribution
Each asteroid variety has three subtypes that yield greater minerals (+5% / +10% / +15%) when reprocessed. Only moons have the +15% variation. If you can, always mine the higher-yielding varieties before the base ore.
Values are given in m3, per 1m3 of ore with 100% yield reprocessing.
