Android Smartphone Secret Configuration Menu

The Android operating system contains several useful secret menus that techs and service personnel use.

Whilst we make every attempt to ensure the accuracy of information presented, I accept no responsibility if things go wrong. You should not attempt this or change settings if you do not know what you are doing. Usage of these menus can lead to modified functionality, deletion of data, altering firmware or an inoperable device. Use with caution and at your own risk.

To access the secret configuration menu, type the following code into the phone keypad.

*#*#4636#*#*

This will launch the secret configuration menu, where you can view important information about your device. The screenshots below show the menus on my phone. This works on rooted and non-rooted phones.
