Not only is the XV1900 Midnight Star large in capacity (1900cc) she is also large in size and weight and was a little more tricky to manoeuvre around the twisty roads through the Brecons than I'm used to. I'm sure I'll soon get used to the increase in size, and with another road trip to Scotland planned next month I'll have plenty of time to get to know her.
Whilst up in the Brecon Beacons we stopped off at the Penderyn Distillery to have a look at Wales only whisky distillery. Unfortunately, we were too late to catch a distillery tour and the next was too long a wait so we just bought a bottle and headed up towards Brecon before heading back down the A470. Whilst stopped for a coffee in a layby we were able to watch several rally cars from the Welsh Rally go past between stages.
