If you want to remove this folder or the others, there is a simple method involving changes to your computer's registry that you can employ.

Did you know you can rename "This PC" to anything you like? Right-click "This PC" in File Explorer, select Rename and type a name. However, it is important to note that renaming 'This PC' may cause issues with certain applications that rely on this name, so proceed with caution.

With a simple registry hack, you can hide the Windows 10 Library Folders Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos. They'll only be hidden from File Explorer's "This PC" view, but you can still access them from the Quick Access view. This gives you the power to customize your file organization to your liking.

Before we start, let's walk through the process. We'll begin by identifying if you're using a 64-bit or 32-bit version of Windows 10. Then, we'll download a ZIP file that contains the necessary registry hacks. Once we've extracted the ZIP file to your Desktop, we'll apply the changes. It's a straightforward process that you can easily follow. Ready? Let's dive in!

Once you've downloaded the ZIP file containing the registry hacks, extract it to your Desktop. Inside the ZIP file, you'll find the registry hacks. There are two folders - one for 32-bit systems and one for 64-bit systems. Each of these folders contains a .reg file that can either Remove or Restore ALL of the automatic folders. There's also a folder called 'Individual Folders' where you can select which folders to remove. To apply the changes, simply double-click on the file and click the Yes button when prompted. Rest assured, this process is safe and straightforward.
