Windows 10's "This PC" view tries to show you relevant and useful information and organizes your files into Windows 10 Library Folders, however, the 3D objects is especially useless and takes up valuable screen space. If you want to remove this folder or the others, there is a simple registry hack that you can employ.
Did you know you can rename "This PC" to anything you like? Just right-click "This PC" in File Explorer, select Rename, and type a name.
We can hide the Windows 10 Library Folders Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos folder with a quick registry hack. They'll only be hidden from the "This PC" view in File Explorer. You can still access them from the Quick Access view.
Before running one of the registry hacks below, you need to check whether you're using a 64-bit or 32-bit version of Windows 10. To check, open the Start menu and search for the "About" application. Launch it and look at the device specifications for "System type". This will state whether you're using a "64-bit operating system" or "32-bit operating system."
Next, you need to download a ZIP file containing the registry hacks.
