How to Reset CP, Skills and Attributes in Elder Scrolls Online

Once you enter champion points, set your skill morphs or confirm attribute points, they cannot usually be changed. However, there is a way to reset each of them to allow you to respec your build from a stamina DPS to a tank where you may want to move your attribute points from stamina to health, for example.

The method for unlocking the ability to reset champion points, skill morphs, and attributes differs, so refer to the sections below for instructions.

There are two ways of respeccing skill morphs and attributes. A respec scroll is available in the crown store, which costs 700 crowns for an attribute respecification scroll and 700 crowns for the skill respecification scroll.

Please do not buy these items - they are way overpriced, and you can do the same for free, well, 3200 in-game gold, using the instructions below. Save your crowns for DLC or something worthwhile.

You get a free attribute and skill respecification scroll as a reward for reaching level 43, so if you haven't reached this yet, there is a free respec on its way to you.

How to Reset CP (Champion Points)

Resetting Champion Points is the easiest of the three. Head into the champion point selection screen and kit the key for Redistribute. This will reset all points spent in all constellations. Any pending changes you have will be reverted. You will be charged 3000 gold if you commit your changes. You will not be charged if you do not confirm your change.

Instead of spending crowns for a skill respecification scroll, you need to travel to a Rededication Shrine. There is one for each alliance. Shrines have a specific icon on the map.

For the Ebonheart Pact, the shrine is located in Mournhold City in the Deshaan zone. You'll want to use the Shrine to Stuhn to reset your skill points or morphs.

For the Aldmeri Dominion, head to Elden Root in Grahtwood. The shrine you want is Shrine to Stendarr to reset skills.

For Daggerfall Covenant, you want to go to Wayrest City in Stormhaven. The Shrine to Stendarr will reset your skills.

How to Reset Attributes

For the Ebonheart Pact, the shrine is located in Mournhold City in the Deshaan zone. Use the Shrine to Kyne to reset your attributes.

For the Aldmeri Dominion, head to Elden Root in Grahtwood. The Shrine to Auriel will let you reset your attributes.

For Daggerfall Covenant, you want to go to Wayrest City in Stormhaven. Seek out the Shrine to Akatosh to reset attributes.
