Upon finalising the paperwork and collecting my keys, me and my brother in law set off towards Ullapool for a fish supper. Unfortunately, there were a few bugs with the new computer system, so we were later leaving Glasgow than we had hoped for, and we ended up stopped at Fort William for the night, as we still had over 100 miles to go and the sun was going down fast.
After a good nights sleep, we headed off up to Ullapool, parked the bikes up outside the hotel and got our fish! Afterwards, we checked in, had a few drinks and played some pool.
On the final day, we rode back from Ullapool, through a cold and very snowy Glencoe where we saw an RAF mountain rescue helicopter which flew alongside us for a bit before heading off back to base. After we cleared Glencoe the weather brightened up all the way back, which was very nice. Now we could see how dirty the bikes were!
All in all, a great way to run in a new motorbike! Once back home, the bikes were treated to a full wash, polish, wax and ACF50 treatment and both are looking like new again.
