Time for a well earned holiday and a trip to Scotland to visit my brother in law at his new house visiting some of the local sights in an area of Scotland which I have not explored before.

Holiday time and once again, with myself, Rob and Heather heading off to Scotland for a mini road trip adventure in the Highlands!
On a bright sunny Sunday afternoon, I headed over to Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire with my new camera to see a Tudor falconry day display in the Abbey grounds.
It has been a while since I've been out for a walk, but now I'm self-employed I've got more time to do the things I like, such as walking in the country. Rob and I head off to a frozen Crook Peak, and this time there is a new member of the duo...
Way back, while sat in a pub drinking scrumpy, me and my brother-in-law Rob came up with a hair-brained plan to do a motorbike tour around Scotland. We decided on early October to avoid the midges, caravans and tourists and with two weeks to go, we set about getting the actual plan in motion.
In a sudden and unexpected change to the day's planned events, my brother in law and myself headed down to Brean and did a spot of fishing off Brean Down.
Tackling Pen y Fan in preparation for climbing Ben Nevis later in the year, we headed over to South Wales and the Brecon Beacons to do a circular walk covering three peaks and Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales.
A fine family day out at Dartmoor Zoological Park to visit our adopted Tiger and to see some of the other big cats which provided an opportunity to get close to the animals for some good photographic shots.
Whilst exploring Bristol with my camera, I lined up a few historic photos with the modern views to compare how Bristol has changed over 100 years.
