Fitting Terrafirma Wheel Spacers - Widen Stance of DefenderFitting Terrafirma Wheel Spacers to my Defender to give it an additional 60mm track, which should improve handling, cornering and stability.

The Terrafirma Wheel Spacers should also increase the steering lock due to increased distances. The Terrafirma wheel spacers are easy to install; they are bolted to the original studs, and the wheel bolts to the new studs on the spacer.
Terrafirma Wheel Spacers will offer improved steering, handling, and stability and look they good. Adjusting the lock stop nuts has also significantly improved the steering lock.
Terrafirma Wheel Spacers are milled from a solid aluminium billet and feature a spigot ring to help centre the wheel when fitting. They may be expensive, but they are worth it.

With rough winter weather on the horizon, I decided to get new tyres to go on my Defender, something capable in snow, and this seemed like a good time. I went with the Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tyres as they have really good reviews, and my brother-in-law has used them in the past and highly regards them. Although in short supply, I got a set from Black Circles at a very good price.
I've also fitted some Terrafirma bumperettes on the rear to help protect the aluminium body corners, which can get damaged easily. I found a bargain on eBay and got the pair ex-display for less than half the price of a new set. They were fitted easily after removing the old bolts, which took most of the day.

Starting to look like a proper Land Rover now!
